How to Install Your Genuine AllergyGuard® Window Screen:

They were easy to install ourselves at home with just one tool from Walmart. I love the idea of these screens for the purpose they were made for. I use my whole house fan a lot to save on air conditioning and my climate is perfect for that. As a result, I get a lot of road dust in my house and they have been effective for near elimination of dust.
The only thing I didn’t consider was how much airflow they would also block. The air flow through these screens has been cut to probably 25% of what it was and I have to have 5-6 windows open in order for the fan to get enough air for it to run, compared to the 2 that I used to open. I am in a catch 22 situation and considering whether to switch them all back or just accept the fact that I cannot use my whole house fan as originally intended. This is no fault of the product, but I wish I would have considered this scenario before I went to the time and expense. Totally my mistake.
